Various media publications tried to reach out to Jhulan Goswami for a reaction. Frustrated, she spoke to Hindustan Times and clarified that even she is unaware of the whole situation. "Mereko aisa koi news nahi hai, aur call mujhe kar rahe sab! Mujhe koi comment nahi karna," the legendary female Indian cricketer said. Jhulan Goswami was closely associated with the making of Chakda 'Xpress and was also a part of the film's wrap-up party in 2023. However, there is no update on it since.

Is Chakda 'Xpress releasing on a different OTT platform?

There were speculations that Chakda 'Xpress might not release on Netflix like was originally planned. The biopic, also starring Undekhi actor Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun-fame actress Renuka Shahane, was supposed to be out by 2024, but it has not yet released, and the speculated reason was the change in the OTT platform. However, there is still no update on the film altogether.
