Indian cricketer Virat Kohli took to his Instagram account and announced his sudden retirement from Test cricket. His post broke the internet and received a lot of emotional reactions from celebrities and fans. Most of them called it the end of an era. Amid this, his wife and actress, Anushka Sharma, shared an emotional yet uplifting post on her Instagram.
Taking to her Instagram account, Anushka Sharma shared a picture with his husband and cricketer, Virat Kohli. The picture shows Virat wearing a Test cricket jersey while sharing a delightful moment with his wife in a field.
Sharing the picture, Anushka wrote, "They’ll talk about the records and the milestones — but I’ll remember the tears you never showed, the battles no one saw, and the unwavering love you gave this format of the game. I know how much all this took from you. After every Test series, you came back a little wiser, a little humbler — and watching you evolve through it all has been a privilege."
She further added, "Somehow, I always imagined you’d retire international cricket in whites — But you’ve always followed your heart, and so I just want to say my love, you’ve earned every bit of this goodbye."

Reacting to his retirment post, one fan said, "King Kohli, happy retirement.
