Tovino Thomas’ long-awaited investigative crime thriller, Anweshippin Kandethum has finally zeroed on its release date. Helmed by Darwin Kuriakose, the upcoming thriller is set to make a grand theatrical debut on February 9, 2024. The film also stars Indrans, Pramod Veliyanad, Siddique, Shammi Thilakan, Baburaj, Arthana Binu, Ramya Suvi, and Saranya in pivotal roles. The film, which is set against the backdrop of a crime scene, has Tovino donning the role of a cop.
Tovino Thomas took to his social media handles to share the latest development about the movie’s release date. In a new post, the actor wrote, “Investigation begins on February 9th, 2024!”.
An intriguing motion poster
The film, which is yet to release its teaser, had earlier unveiled the first glance motion poster, which revealed an intriguing glimpse, starring Tovino Thomas as a cop and a mirror image of himself as an ordinary man. The poster was well received by viewers who have been waiting for an update from the team for over a month. Now, the team has released the release date along with a poster featuring the cast members along with Tovino in an intense look. Nonetheless, the movie suggests a gripping crime drama and with Tovino as a lead makes it an even more interesting watch!

Bankrolled by Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams, the upcoming film centres on two significant crimes that had a huge impact on the state of Kerala and the subsequent investigations that are led by Tovino's character, a dedicated police officer. Actress Aadhya Prasad is set to play the female lead in the film, while the screenplay for the film is written by Jinu Abraham, who is known for his work in films like Adam Joan and Kaduva. Cinematographer Gautham Shankar and Tamil music director Santhosh Narayanan are part of the crime thriller film.
Meanwhile, the Minnal Murali star has a couple of films in his kitty including Identity, Ajayante Randam Moshanam and Nadikar Thilakam.
