AP Dhillon: First of a Kind: Prime Video announces documentary on the music sensation with release date

The new docuseries AP Dhillon: First of a Kind was announced by Prime Video. produced by Passion Pictures in collaboration with Run-Up Records, Wildsheep Content. The four-part docuseries, directed by Jay Ahmed, explores Amritpal Singh Dhillon's life and tells the tale of the internationally renowned self-made superstar known as AP Dhillon. The series follows his extraordinary journey from Gurdaspur, a small town in Punjab, to Canada, where he has established himself as a recognised international music superstar.

This series offers an insight into Dhillon's life and journey through a combination of personal accounts from Dhillon and interviews with his close-knit family and friends. It immerses the audience in Dhillon's world and follows him on a worldwide expedition, both on and off the stage. Starting on August 18 it will be available on the OTT platform.

Prime Video posted an unseen video of AP Dhillon singing while playing a guitar and wrote, "You know his music but not the man. This was AP Dhillon’s last night in India before he made the career defining move to Canada. With big dreams to achieve, little did he know about the challenges ahead, from cultural differences to language barriers. But he moved past every obstacle to become the raging success he is today! His life and his struggles have always been a mystery to his fans. Until now!
