Aparajita Ghosh Das to play the lead in Leena Gangopadhyay’s next?

Aparajita Ghosh Das was one of the popular faces on television and has played lead roles in many hit serials like Ekhane Akash Nil, Ekdin Pratidin, Kusum Dola, Kojagari, and Ekka Dokka. She has a significant film career as well. But the actress has been away from acting for a long time, except for some side roles in a few serials. Now it is heard that Aparajita is returning to a lead role on television after a long time.  

According to a report in Hindustan Times Bangla, it is heard that Leena Gangopadhyay will write a new serial that will revolve around a middle-aged couple. Aparajita will play the female lead, though the male lead has not been decided yet. The serial will be produced by Leena's Magic Moments and will be seen on Star Jalsha.  

On the other hand, Rishi Kaushik had a successful pair with Aparajita and they delivered hits like Ekhane Akash Nil, Ekdin Pratidin, and Kusum Dola. Is there any chance of the pair coming back? Nothing is known yet. Rishi Kaushik is in Mumbai right now, busy with a shooting.  

Aparajita acted in many films like Iti Srikanta, Chalo Lets Go, Bakita Byaktigoto, and Ekfali Rowd. She was last seen in the film Kirtan, directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee.
