Apart from Pathaan, here's why Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon's Shehzada has been postponed

Shehzada's producers said on Monday that they will push back the film's debut date from February 10 to February 17 out of respect for Pathaan. But it looks like there are other things going on besides the huge success of the Shah Rukh Khan movie. Sources say that Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are working with director Rohit Dhawan to film a new song.

An insider told Midday that the album's lacklustre reception is to blame for the last-minute addition. The top two songs on the charts are Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan. No movie song has been able to match their popularity since January, including Shehzada's Munda Sona Hoon Main and Chedkhaniyan. The producers, therefore, decided to record a new promotional song that would grab people's attention. The dance piece being filmed on Madh Island is being choreographed by Bosco Martis.

The movie wasn't going to come out on February 10 because there weren't enough places to see it. An industry insider claimed that the goal of exhibitors is to maximise Pathaan's illustrious run. When Pathaan enters its fourth week in mid-February, it is unknown how many screens Shehzada will receive.

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, a 2020 Telugu film, has been remade as the action drama Shehzada. It is made by Brat Films, Geetha Arts, Haarika & Hassine Creations, and T-Series Films. Rohit Dhawan is in charge of the movie's direction. Along with Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar, it stars Kartik Aaryan, who also co-produced the movie.

In the film, an uncultured Bantu (Kartik), a young person from a middle-class family, learns that he is the biological child of an industrialist who is worth a million dollars.

Shehzada is Kartik and Kriti's second movie together. The first was Luka Chuppi, which came out in 2019.
