Apharan 2 teaser: Arunoday Singh’s Rudra is back with his ‘jhand kismat’

Arunoday Singh is back as Rudra for Apharan 2, the teaser of which is out now. He is going to give the viewers more glimpse of his ‘jhand kismat’ (bad luck) through the series. Saanand Verma’s Satyanarayan Dubey plays the second lead in the series this time around.

Arunoday introduces the teaser stating that a story is superhit if both the hero and the villain are scared. He then mentions that Apharan 2 is blockbuster, thus raising the expectations fourfold.

Through the teaser, we see that inspector Rudra (Arunoday) has been assigned a dangerous case. He is supposed to ‘take care’ of a terrorist who wants to leave India in shatters.

Rudra is seen introducing the antagonist stating that a whole army might be able to take down the unseen and dangerous man. However, he has been assigned the task of taking down this terrorist.

Apharan 2 is full of cuss words but they add to the fun of the plot. The characters shift their focus to these words, which is seen in the scene where Rudra goes to meet a shop owner and meets his wife instead.

The new season also promises a lot of action with all the comedy. Surprisingly, the makers have managed to make the action scenes also hilarious, as seen in Rudra breaking down a wall.

While Rudra plays the lead role, we also see the different shades of Saanand Verma’s Satyanarayan Dubey, hinting that he will also be playing a very important role in the series.

Apharan 2 promises ‘Sabka Katega Dobara’, just like the original did. The teaser's news, along with the platform change (from AltBalaji, MX Player to Voot) was announced on February 23 with Ekta and Arunoday.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor’s AltBalaji, the series also stars Nidhi Singh and Snehil Dixit Mehra in the lead roles. It will be streaming on Voot.
