Apharan 2 trailer: Did you notice Jeetendra in the Arunoday Singh-starring series?

Jeetendra appears to be exploring OTT with various different series, the latest being Apharan 2. The trailer of this show, starring Arunoday Singh in the lead role, revealed that Jeetendra will also be a part of the Ekta Kapoor-produced show. For the uninitiated, this is not the ‘jumping jack’s first web series. He had already made his debut with another AltBalaji web series Baarish.

Interestingly enough, Apharan 2, even when produced by Ekta and AltBalaji, will release on Voot. Nonetheless, Jeetendra still appears to be playing one of the pivotal roles/cameo appearances in Apharan 2, as revealed from the trailer.

Jeetendra’s frame comes at a crucial time – when Arunoday’s Rudra Srivastava is living his life in the past, when he met and fell in love with his now wife Ranjana Srivastava (Nidhi Singh).

The trailer has a dialogue about heroes. Rudra speaks about how heroes are made, which is when we see a frame of a rather conscious Jeetendra. It is only for a split second and thus people could literally miss-and-blink this appearance from 1.47 to 1.48 minutes.

Jeetendra has appeared in Balaji Telefilms’ show Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii as well. He made his OTT debut with Sharman Joshi-Asha Negi’s Baarish back in 2020. The actor is now coming back after two long years, that too with Apharan season 2.

Apharan 2 features Saanand Verma in the role of Satyanarayan Dubey. The series also stars Nidhi Singh and Snehil Dixit Mehra in the lead roles.

It will be available for streaming from March 18. Whether the series will release on AltBalaji or MX Player later is still unknown.
