Interestingly, at one point of time, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra were called each other's biggest competitors.

The makers of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Bhediya have just released their new song, Apna Bana Le. This track is touted to be a romantic song. Co-incidentally, it is very similar to another romantic track – Baar Baar Dekho’s song Kho Gaye Hum Kahan featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif. It is to be noted that Varun and Sidharth started their Bollywood career together and were touted to be each other’s biggest competitors for the longest time.
Apna Bana Le is all about its romantic moments. However, surprise surprise, it’s not original. Many of these moments were already existing in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, a sweet song that tells the tale of childhood love. Here in Bhediya, it’s just love and not childhood love. However, there's a striking similarity between Kriti and Katrina's hairstyle, among the many other things.
The swing in both the songs are actually pretty similar. In both the scenes, the girl gives her guy a hug while on the swing with him.
The guy looking at his girl with a smile, while on the swing, hasn’t changed in the songs either.
The mood lighting, especially red lights, are a constant. They are the indicators of what’s coming for the couple.
Another example is of Kriti and Varun lying on the ground in Apna Bana Le. She gives him a side hug. Back in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, it was Sidharth giving Katrina a side hug as they indulged in a fun moment.
Last but not the least, the girl teasing the guy remains. While Katrina teased Sidharth’s by poking his forehead, Kriti held Varun’s cheeks tight before showering him with a kiss.
Apna Bana Le is the second song unveiled from Bhediya after Thumkeshwari. The previous track also revealed Shraddha Kapoor’s association with the film.
Bhediya also features Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. ‘Stree’ Shraddha Kapoor also makes a song appearance in the film which is slated to release in theatres on November 25, 2022.
