As Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom aka Aquaman 2 is finally just a day away from its release worldwide, the curiosity of a fair number of audience members is piqued. One of the most controversial movies of our times, Aquaman 2 has seen a lot from the point it was announced through the entire journey till its release. Now, as we are all set to catch the Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson starrer on the big screen, the movie has faced yet another blow. Turns out the details about the post-credit scene of the movie have now made it to the internet.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom will dive deeper into the Atlantian saga as it is set to bring back and introduce us to Arthur Curry’s elder brother played by Patrick Wilson. While there is enough curiosity around his storyline, there are enough speculations and rumored plotlines too. However, the latest buzz is about the only post-credit scene in Aquaman 2 that features Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson in a funny scene.

As per the Comic Book Movie, the post-credit scene of Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom will feature Patrick Wilson’s Orm eating a burger. Just at that moment, he sees a cockroach nearby. He picks it up and eats it, which is a nod to a gag from an earlier part of the film. However, this is a very inconsequential scene as per the reactions on the internet. But the fact that this storyline goes nowhere beyond here and James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DCU has no space for it, you might let this go.

The same happened with Ben Affleck’s post-credit scenes that were shot for The Flash but later cut to not show the audience anything that is not going to be taken ahead. Reports have that Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is the last of Jason Momoa’s Aquaman we will be seeing. He even recently confirmed that the future doesn’t look good for the franchise. In the same conversation, he also said he is open to playing Lobo if there is space for him in James and Peter’s DCU.

As per Entertainment Weekly, Jason Momoa said, "The truth of it is, I mean, if the audience loves it, then there's a possibility. But right now, I’m like, 'It's not looking too good.’ I love this character and [I would want to] play it for a long time. I kind of see where I would want it to go. And even in the next 10 years or so, like, there's a lot of cool things they can do. And I do enjoy the role and the world. So, I mean, it just comes down to if people love it."

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom will be released worldwide on December 22, 2023, and a day early on December 21, 2023, in India. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
