According to HT City, one can expect a glittering roster of Bollywood stars, including legendary singer Sonu Nigam's debut performance at the event. The show will start with a patriotic act by Sonu, followed by a special collaboration with Oscar-winning singer AR Rahman. Plus, Rahman is rumoured to take the stage solo with his group for an unforgettable performance.
Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are also expected to promote their upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in full swing at the event. They are expected to deliver a terrific dance performance to the film’s songs. “The duration of the entire show, including Akshay and Tiger’s performance, will be about 30 minutes. Sonu and Rahman will also present some Bollywood hits together,” read the report.
The report further mentioned that the program will also feature a drone show at the end.
The Indian Premier League (IPL)'s 17th season will start in Chennai on March 22 with a match between the Chennai Super Kings (defending champions) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule for the first 21 matches, which will take place from March 22 to April 7. The schedule for the rest of the matches hasn't been announced yet because the BCCI waited for the Election Commission to release the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
