PremiumAR Rahman to perform live at Silambarasan's Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu audio launch

The much-hyped audio launch of Silambarasan TR's upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu is all set to happen in Chennai tomorrow. The makers have given a sneak peek into the stage at Vels University where the launch is happening. The makers gave a glimpse of the work happening on the stage and captioned it, "The Stage is All set for the @SilambarasanTR_- @menongautham's #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu Grand Audio Launch Happening at Vels University Tomorrow and Witness Live performance of @arrahman ♥️ Prod by @VelsFilmIntl @IshariKGanesh A @RedGiantMovies_ Release @Udhaystalin (sic)."
Earlier, the film's producer had invited Kamal Haasan and Udhayanidhi Stalin for the launch. Today, the makers announced that the film's composer AR Rahman will be performing live for the audience and in the presence of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. "Witness the Grand Audio launch of @SilambarasanTR_ @menongautham 's #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu with @arrahman's LIVE performance in the presence of Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan Tomo @ Vels Univ, Pallavaram. Prod by @VelsFilmIntl @IshariKGanesh A @RedGiantMovies_ Release @Udhaystalin (sic)."
The songs Kaalathukkum Nee Venum, Marakkuma Nenjam and Muthu's Journey have already been released on social media. While Siddhi Idnani plays the leading lady in the film, the supporting cast includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav and Aangelina Abraham. Cinematography is by Siddhartha Nuni and editing is by Anthony.
The shoot for the film was wrapped up on April 15. Menon wrote on his social media page after wrapping up the shoot, “Filming completed and in post now. It was like going back to school and learning some more but with the best in the business and an actor/star par excellence. Thanking all the other brilliant actors and the team for riding along steadfast on this journey (sic).”
The film has been bankrolled by Vels Film International and distributed by Red Giant Movies and is slated to hit screens worldwide on September 15.
