Aranmanai 4 plot revealed: Sundar C and others must confront a ghost which feasts on humans

Aranmanai 4, the upcoming Tamil film starring and directed by filmmaker Sundar C, which was supposed to have released on April 26, stands postponed. The film will be now arriving on May 3 in theatres.

Ahead of the film's release, the plot of Aranmanai 4 has been doing rounds on social media. For the uninitiated, Aranmanai is a film franchise created by Sundar C. The upcoming film is the fourth instalment. The first three films are available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

Aranmanai 4 plot revealed

As per social media posts, Aranmanai 4 will revolve around Sundar C, who plays a lawyer from Chennai. His sister is played by actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who along with her family, start residing in a bungalow in village. However, after her husband dies under mysterious circumstances and the sister dies by suicide, it is up to the lawyer to unravel the mystery in their deaths. There is also a rumour of a ghost lurking in the village, which consumes on humans.

Aranmanai 4 also stars Raashii Khanna, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Delhi Ganesh, Kovai Sarala, and others. The roles of the cast members are kept under wraps. Recently, the makers released the song Achaho featuring the leading ladies of the film.

Aranmanai 4 is set to arrive in theatres on May 3, paving way for Vishal-starrer Rathnam to have a solo release on April 26. The upcoming film has story and direction by Sundar. C, with music scored by Hiphop Tamizha. E Krishnasamy has shot Aranmanai 4, with Fenny Oliver handling the edits. Gururaj is the art director.

It is to be noted that each installment of Aranmanai serves as a standalone film with different characters but the same premise. It involves a family who relocates to a haunted bungalow, only for some of the family members to be possessed by the spirits of dead people.
