Aranyak teaser: Raveena Tandon as a fierce pahadi cop revives a forgotten myth of a bloodthirsty serial killer

Prepare to go on a thrilling and mysterious journey that will set your heart racing. Raveena Tandon, the diva of 90s Bollywood, is set to make her streaming debut as a fierce pahadi cop, Kasturi Dogra, in Netflix's upcoming crime thriller Aranyak. The title, which means "forest dweller," delivers you a dark and gritty narrative set in the midst of an eerie rainforest and a mystery settlement that will keep you fascinated. Aranyak will take you on a journey through folklore, murder, and a slew of unsolved mysteries.

Talking about the plot of the series, after a foreign teenage tourist goes missing in a misty village, Kasturi, a frazzled local cop, is forced to team up with her city-bred successor, Angad, on a high-profile case that unearths skeletons and resurrects a long-forgotten legend of a savage serial killer in the woods.

So, with Aranyak, get ready to transfer to a realm where the air is a little heavier, the aura a little sleepier, and everything is a little more mysterious!

Aranyak is produced by Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment and directed by Vinay Waikul. Rohan Sippy serves as the showrunner. The teaser offers a glimpse into the mystery, which stars Raveena, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ashutosh Rana, Meghna Malik, Zakir Hussain, and Indraneil Sengupta, among others.

Aranyak will premiere exclusively on Netflix on December 10, 2021.

Although the series is Raveena's full-fledged Netflix debut, she had earlier appeared in one of the episodes of Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, which aired in 2020 on the OTT platform.

Her upcoming big-screen outing is K.G.F: Chapter 2, her first appearance in the second instalment of the hit franchise, featuring Yash in the lead role. In the film, the actor plays the role of Ramika Sen, a politician.
