Finally, Kusha Kapila addressed the rumours linking her to Arjun Kapoor. The influencer turned actor recently sent a statement on her Instagram broadcast channel addressing these reports and dismissing them as baseless. The stress of these allegations, she said, has also affected her mother's mental health.
Addressing relationship rumours
Kusha wrote on her Instagram page, "roz apne baare mein itni bakwaas padh kar mujhe apna khud se ek formal introduction karwana padega. (Reading so much nonsense about myself makes me feel like I need to have a formal introduction with myself.)
She added, "Every time I read sh*t about myself, I just hope and pray ki meri mummy na padh le yeh sab. Unki social life has taken a big hit. (Every time I read this kind of stuff, I just hope and pray that my mother doesn't read all of it. Her social life has been negatively affected.)
Kusha's split from Zorawar
Kusha Kapila and Arjun Kapoor's rumoured relationship has been in the news ever since they were spotted together at a party at Karan Johar's house. It also comes after Kusha's split from husband Zorawar Ahluwalia, which she disclosed months earlier. They issued a joint statement on June 26 of this year, in which they said that they gave it their all until they couldn't anymore.
The statement also read that it was their united decision to end their relationship, and this has not been a simple choice, but it is the correct one for them right now. They still care deeply about each other and cherish their time together, but their future goals aren't congruent.
The former couple also added that a relationship ending is devastating and they need time to recover. Maya, their pet canine, is the love of their lives, and they intend to continue raising her as a family. As well as remaining each other's biggest fans and rocks of support.
