BLACKPINK's Jennie has recently released her solo digital single, "You & Me," which she initially performed during BLACKPINK's recent world tour, BORNPINK. While the song has achieved success on various streaming platforms, there have been reports of certain BLACKPINK fans, known as Blinks, harassing individuals who are not part of the K-pop community on the platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

Many people have shared the direct messages (DMs) they received on X from specific fans urging them to stream the song. However, those who declined to do so have been subjected to offensive language and even death threats.

It's important to note that some Blinks have pointed out that these actions are attributed to solo fans rather than the entire fandom.

About Jennie's new song:

Jennie debuted the song during the Born Pink World Tour on October 15, 2022, at the opening concert held at KSPO Dome in Seoul. The song was composed by Danny Chung, Teddy, 24, and Vince.

According to Koreaboo, Jennie had previously mentioned that she had recorded "You & Me" three to four years before 2022.

This impressive beginning not only represents Jennie's most successful solo debut on the platform thus far, but "You & Me" has also become her inaugural solo track to enter Spotify's Global Top 50.
