Responding to a report from Dispatch, YG Entertainment, the agency representing BLACKPINK, officially confirmed the relationship with the statement, "They are getting to know each other with positive feelings. We would be thankful if you looked upon them with warmth."

Similarly, Ahn Bo-hyun's agency, FN Entertainment, stated, "They are getting to know each other."
