Actor-composer GV Prakash, who has been part of successful projects, is awaiting the release of his upcoming film Kingston. The film is all set to hit theatres on March 7. With the promotions for the film already have begun, GV Prakash addressed the rumours surrounding his divorce and alleged relationship with Kingston co-star Divya Bharathi.

GV Prakash on his relationship with Divya Bharathi: We have nothing to do

Actors GV Prakash and Divya Bharathi are starring once again together in the upcoming film Kingston, a big budget sea fantasy entertainer. The film is slated for March 7 release. While this marks their second collaboration after Bachelor, many rumours have been doing rounds suggesting that the duo are dating, and it being the reason for GV Prakash’s divorce with singer Saindhavi.

During the promotions of Kingston, GV Prakash openly addressed the rumours and said, “I want to clarify that that we are not dating and we are just good friends. I met her on floors only and after that, now while giving interviews. It's because Bachelor worked well, people tend to talk such stuff. We have nothing to do with each other.”

Divya Bharathi added that she never expected that GV Prakash’s divorce announcement would propel hatred against her, blaming her for their separation. “It was tough for me, because I never expected they would target me. As soon as his announcement came, people came straight towards me. I have got DMs from many women blaming for his divorce. I never expected that, and at the end of the day, they are targeting only the women,” she said.
