Are Shiv Thakare-Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia a couple? Shiv says ‘na uske dil mein guitar baj raha hai na mere’

Bigg Boss 16 saw many connections being made and broken. However, one bond that people thought was the most genuine, was between #ShivRit aka Shiv Thakare and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Every single time she was upset on Salman Khan’s show, there Shiv was, ensuring she cannot stay mad at him for long.

Now, Shiv and Nimrit have spoken about if they would give relationship a chance. While Shiv completely asked the fans to let them stay friends, Nimrit hinted at a possibility but ‘in a million years.’

Nimrit spoke to ETimes in a video interview. There, she called the fans sweet but then added that maybe in a million years, she and Shiv might be together. She then laughed and said the cliched, “We’re very good friends.”

Meanwhile, Shiv, in an interview to the publication, was very clear that he wants nothing but friendship out of Nimrit. He said that two people who look good together could also be friends only. “Unki shaadi karake unki vaat mat lagao,” Shiv laughed as he said.

“Mujhe nahi lagta ki koi guitar na uske dil mein baj raha hai na mere,” he added. He asked his fans not to ‘faaltu mein barbaad’ both of them and promised that they would continue to be partners in crime but only as friends.

Nimrit became a part of Sajid Khan, Shiv Thakare, MC Stan and Abdu Rozik’s group thanks to her friendship with Shiv. Ever since, Shiv and Nimrit were a strong part of the mandali, with of course, the winner Stan and Sajid-Abdu, who left early on in the show.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan was also a part of the mandali for a brief period of time. She was often seen spending time with Nimrit and Shiv. Stan joined them when he felt like it but by the end, the four were close and especially Shiv-Nimrit bonded well, which was seen in their behaviour till her last day in the house.
