Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez call it quits, file for divorce simultaneously

Ariana Grande is officially set to split from Dalton Gomez. The duo filed for divorce simultaneously on Monday after being married for over two years. The news of the couple's break up came earlier this year, and now they have decided to officially end their marriage.

According to the latest report on PEOPLE, the pop star and the real estate agent filed for their divorce together on the same day, while the news of their separation arrived in July 2023 for the first time as they have been taking some time to work through the details of the agreement privately. 

"They’ve been really caring and respectful of one another through every step of this process," a source unveiled to PEOPLE.

The reason for the separation

An insider revealed to PEOPLE that the decision was mutual as the relationship between the celebrity couple did not work after Grande moved to London to shoot her film Wicked as it became a long-distance marriage.

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's relationship

The duo started dating in January 2020 and confirmed their relationship in front of the fans when they both appeared together for the diva song titled Stuck with U alongside Justin Beiber. Following these events, the real estate agent proposed to Grande later the same year, and they announced their engagement in December 2020. After a few months, they tied the knot on May 15, 2021.
