Arindam Sil went to Sikkim on a trip with his wife Shukla. They were seen spending time in a luxury resort, 12 kilometres from Gangtok, in the den of nature. Arindam shared the photos of the trip on social media and wrote an emotional post on his wife's birthday. How is she celebrating his wife's birthday, away from Kolkata?

By his admission, Arindam wanted to show his wife the shooting spots of Shabash Felula – a Zee5 original that was dropped last year. In an interview with Anandabazar Online, he said, “I was showing Shukla the spots of Sabash Feluda. We went to the hills and from there we went down the jungle. I showed her the spot from where we dropped the car.” They came to Gangtok on Tuesday after visiting Changu Lake and Nathu La.

Did he give any gifts to his wife? Arindam informed that they exchange gifts frequently and spending time with each other is the most important of all. “We present each other gifts frequently. It is a big thing that we are spending time here like that. We got the time and opportunity after a long while.”

They came back to the city on Wednesday. Arindam said that the friends were waiting for the birthday party. Arindam and Shukla celebrated her birthday with a small group of their close friends already before the trip.

Arindam was busy shooting Koel Mallick in his third Mitin Mashi film. However, Koel fractured her hand while shooting an action sequence. The director said that the plaster of Koel's fractured hand will be removed on May 15. He initially thought of starting the shooting of the film Mitin: Ekti Khunir Sondhane on June 1. But he changed the date keeping in mind the election's result date. He said they would shoot on days except June 1 and 4. “The time it started was ideal for all. Now I understand that people will find it difficult due to the scorching heat. I will finish the shooting as soon as possible.”

However, right now they are not thinking about these, but rather spending time in the mountains, away from the city.
