On the occasion of their mother’s birthday, both, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor take to social media and pen emotional posts
At every given opportunity and occasion, actor Arjun Kapoor always credits all his success and his entire life to his (late) mother Mona Shourie, who had passed away a few years ago. Today, on the occasion of her birth anniversary, both Arjun Kapoor and his sister Anshula Kapoor took to social media and posted memorable moments about their mother. There has never been any day when both Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor have not remembered their mother.
Today, Arjun Kapoor took to social media and posted an extremely endearing photograph of his mother, in which she was seen playing a musical instrument. The dutiful son that he is, Arjun Kapoor posted, “Happy Birthday to our everything. She would have been sweet 60 today and would have been rocking, smiling and spreading happiness all around… Love u Maa till we meet again like u always say Rab Rakha”.
Besides this, the ‘Gunday’ actor also posted an emotional photograph of him with his sister Anshula Kapoor. He captioned the same as, “From us to her. Happy birthday to mom." On her part, Anshula Kapoor too took to social media and shared a post which was originally posted by Shahana Dasgupta. Anshula captioned the said post as, ‘She was my entire universe.’
As for Shahana Dasgupta’s post, it had an extremely sweet photograph of Mona Shourie with an equally sweet caption which stated, “Happy birthday to one of the best women in the world! Someone who I have had the privilege of growing up in front of. Who always made time to talk to me and treat me like an adult and who made me feel heard. Who had the best advice and the best gossip. Mona aunty, thank you for the memories, the love, the teachings and over all thank you for looking out for us, every single day, from the stars above! Love you forever!”
Looking back, Mona Shourie was a multi-talented personality who was not just an enterprising TV and film producer. On the day and date of March 25, 2012, she set for heavenly abode after being detected with cancer and hypertension.
