Arjun Kapoor recently celebrated a decade since his debut release Ishaqzaade, which stars Parineeti Chopra as well. In a recent interview, the actor also spoke about the possibility of being the star of a web-series.
Arjun reasoned that many wonder that if everyone is in an OTT series, he should also choose the same route but he has had offers made to him.
"Well, as of now, my hands are full. I was one of the few actors who was working through the pandemic as well between Sardar Ka Grandson, Bhoot Police, Ek Villain Returns, Kuttey, and now The Ladykiller. So, I’ve been busy and haven’t got the time to analyse what kind of OTT shows, series, films I’d like to do. The interest is there, the offers are there too," he confided in Bollywood Hungama.
The actor added that he would prefer to not repeat the type of work he's doing in films for OTT. He said that he's keen to be in an OTT project but is unsure about what kind of roles he should take up.
Arjun broke into Bollywood with Ishaqzaade, which is based on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Written and directed by Habib Faisal, the movie explored interfaith romance, honour killings and several other topical issues. The movie is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Meanwhile, the actor has three new movies in the pipeline — Ek Villain Returns, Kuttey, and The Ladykiller. Ek Villain 2 stars John Abraham and Disha Patani as well and will be the first to release in cinemas (July 18) out of the lot.
