Arjun Kapoor’s look from Bhoot Police out: Meet Chiraunji

Hours after Saif Ali Khan’s Vibhooti, the first look of Arjun Kapoor from the horror-comedy Bhoot Police is out. The actor plays the role of Chiraunji in the film.

While Saif Ali Khan looked dapper in a black jacket, Arjun Kapoor opted for a raw look for the film. He dons a black kurta and a shawl.

The actor, who was part of Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, is seen holding a tiki torch in his hand. In the first look poster, he sported a rather angry expression.

Bhoot Police is directed by Pavan Kriplani. In a statement, he had promised that both Saif and Arjun ‘will bring their trademark fun elements.’

The movie stars Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female leads. Jaaved Jafferi also plays an important role in the film. Bhoot Police was originally slated for a theatrical release though, in June, the makers confirmed it would be a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+Hotstar. They are yet to announce the release date of the film.

Previously, Bhoot Police was to star Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal in addition to Saif. However, the cast changed along the way for reasons best known to the makers.

This is the first time that Arjun Kapoor is teaming up with Saif. Arjun had previously collaborated with Saif’s better half Kareena Kapoor Khan for Ki & Ka.
