The psychological thriller, Arrdham, starring child artist-turned-actor Mahendra, Shraddha Das, Ajay, Amani, and Sahithi Avancha in key roles, is slated to release in all South Indian languages - Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada- soon. The film is written, edited and directed by Manikanth Thallaguti, who has had an extensive stint as an editor and VFX technician, and is produced by Radhika Srinivas of Minerva Piktures and SVM (Sri Vasavi Movie) Productions. The multilingual is presented by Rithvik Vetsha.
The first look motion poster of the film was released by Republic, Prasthanam filmmaker Deva Katta on Monday. The first look takes you to a creepy den where a character appears to have been trapped. The VFX-rich motion poster is backed by a riveting, haunting background score while Mahendra is seen wielding his gun towards the end of the motion poster. The presence of Shraddha Das in the same lends familiarity to the glimpse. Devi Prasad, Sai Dheena, Vasu Vikram, Rowdy Rohini and ETV Prabhakar too essay important roles in Arrdham.
The producer Radhika Srinivasa thanked filmmaker Deva Katta for releasing the motion poster and assured audiences that the thriller will have a gripping screenplay. She lauded director Manikanth for his ability to execute a complex story with such good vision. The post-production formalities were wrapped recently and a release date is expected to be announced shortly. The film's dialogues and lyrics have been penned by Rakendu Mouli, while Arjun Reddy-fame Harshavardhan Rameshwar has scored the music.
Director Manikanth Thallaguti stated the film has a novel theme and revolves around the signficance of family values and reasserts the primacy of women in our lives. Despite being a psychological thriller, the filmmaker aded that Arrdham will have entertainment in abundance. He shared that previous experience in VFX helped him lend a technical edge to the execution. Suchitra Chandrabose has choreographed all the numbers in the film while Pavan Chenna is the cinematographer.
