Article 370, starring Yami Gautam and Priyamani was released on February 23, clashing with Vidyut Jammwal-starrer Crakk. The film is continuing its strong run at the box office even on weekdays as it passes the Monday test with good numbers. The political film produced by Aditya Dhar made ₹3.25 cr at the box office on Monday taking its nett domestic total to ₹26.15 in India, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

On the first day, the film opened with ₹5.9 crore collection. The film benefitted from strong word of mouth and went on to collect good numbers on its opening weekend. The film earned ₹7.4 crore and ₹9.6 crore on its first Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The total collection of Article 370 now stands at ₹26.15 crore in net in India.

Article 370 Worldwide Box Office Collection

Article 370 has made ₹31.8 crore in total revenue, including ₹5 crore from overseas and ₹26.8 crore at the India box office. It is to be noted that Yami Gautam-starrer has been made on a budget of only ₹20 crore.

Article 370 banned in Gulf countries

It was recently reported that Yami Gautam's film has been banned in Gulf countries. However, the reason behind the ban has not been revealed by the authorities. After Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter, this is 2024's second film to be banned in Gulf nations. Both movies deal with with India–Pakistan border conflicts.

Article 370 Vs Crakk

Crakk, starring Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Amy Jackson, and Nora Fatehi, was released on the same day as Article 370, i.e., on February 23. The film brought in ₹9.72 crore net in India and ₹3 crore abroad, according to the reports. Undoubtedly, Yami's film is leading over Vidyut's film at the ticket window.

Now that Article 370 has passed the Monday test, it is anticipated that the movie will enjoy a stable and extended run at the box office because of the continuing high attendance and favorable reviews from viewers.
