Article 370 box office collection day 7 - Yami Gautam's film witnesses a dip, earns Rs 35.45 crore

Yami Gautam was recently featured in filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale's film, Article 370. The film, which also features Priyamani in a pivotal role, was released on the big screen on February 23, 2024. The film clashed with Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal's Crakk at the box office. Despite that, Article 370 got a good start at the ticket window. However, within a week of its release, the political drama has witnessed a dip in its BO collection.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the Yami Gautam and Priyamani-starrer minted Rs 2.85 crore on day seven at the box office. Considering the same, the total collection of Article 370 now stands at Rs 35.45 crore. For the uninitiated, the film got an opening of Rs 6.12 crore. It was followed by an earning of Rs 9.08 crore on day two and Rs 10.25 crore on day three at the ticket window. 

Although Article 370 maintained a steady pace in the beginning, the film has started to fall flat in its collection in the past few days. However, the movie is likely to cross the Rs 50 crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Article 370 worldwide box office collection

Meanwhile, Article 370, written by Aditya Dhar, Arjun Dhawan, and Aditya Suhas Jambhale, has minted Rs 48.91 crore (gross) at the global box office. JioStudios shared the official worldwide box office update of the movie on Instagram. The caption to their IG post read, "The numbers tell it all! Go for this thrilling entertainer and witness the historic change! (sic)."

In this film, Yami Gautam plays the role of an intelligence officer Zooni and the storyline of Article 370 revolves around around the abrogation of Article 370. It has been majorly shot in Kashmir. While Yami plays Zooni, her co-star Priyamani is seen as Rajeshwari Swaminathan. Kiran Karmarkar plays the role of Home Minister whereas Arun Govil is seen as the Prime Minister.

After its theatrical run ends, Article 370 will premiere on JioCinema.
