Article 370 is a political action thriller starring Yami Gautam in the lead role. The film was released in cinemas in February 2024 and was available for streaming on Netflix from April 2024. On September 17, 2025, ZEE5 announced that Article 370 will also be available for streaming on their platform from September 19. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premiu subscription.

Article 370 is all set to land on ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium) after more than one year of its Netflix streaming. The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar and stars Yami Gautam Dhar and Priyamani, alongside Skand Thakur, Ashwini Kaul, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar.

Article 370 plot

The 2024 Hindi political thriller film Article 370 chronicles the events leading up to the Indian government's abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, following intelligence operative Zooni Haksar (Yami Gautam). She leads an NIA operation against terrorism and corruption. 

The story deals with the real-life aspects of the political move with a fictional narrative, depicting the work of the NIA and the political maneuvering within Parliament and the PMO. The film has supporting roles from actors like Priyamani as a determined Deputy Secretary and Raj Zutshi as a separatist leader.

The story depicts both the ground-level fight against militants and the diplomatic and political battles that took place in Delhi, leading to the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.

The film aims to provide a more nuanced perspective on the complex issues surrounding Kashmir, exploring the dynamics of terrorism, corruption, and political maneuvering that lead to abolition.

Yami Gautam on Article 370 success

During a media interaction, Yami said, "When a script comes to me, I see the film without bias. I do it if I think it will engage me or challenge me as an actor." 

She emphasized that Article 370 was an introduction that really interested her, because although it was based on real events, it left room for questioning the legitimacy of those events. 

Yami highlighted the uniqueness of the film, saying that it stands out for its interesting content and innovative approach. "I was a part of a film which will be remembered for a long time for its subject and novelty," she explained.
