Actor took to Instagram to give his fans a glimpse of his look in his new movie
Actor Arun Vijay took to Instagram to give his fans a glimpse of his look in his 33rd movie, directed by his brother-in-law and filmmaker Hari. The actor is seen wearing a dhoti and a dark grey sipping coffee amidst a busy set. He also shared a few images with Hari and other crew members. The film is currently being shot at Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu.
Arun Vijay expressed his joy in working in a ‘rural-script’ after a long time and asked his fans to wait for updates from the film’s “electrifying schedules”. The actor made a mark recently in Karthick Naren’s Mafia: Chapter I. Although the movie had immense pre-release hype because of Karthik Naren and his debut-directorial blockbuster Dhruvangal Pathinaaru, Mafia was only a moderate success. The actor is also looking forward to the release of several of his completed projects like Agni Siragugal and Sinam.

Arun Vijay is paired opposite actress Priya Bhavani Shankar in the movie. This is their second film together after Mafia: Chapter I, where Priya played Sathya, the lead character Aryan’s co-worker.
Director Hari, known for his mass-masala-action movies like the Singam Trilogy and Saamy is also looking for a comeback after the debacle Saamy Square. The movie starred Vikram in the sequel of the 2003 blockbuster and bombed in the box office, trolled for its after-effects and editing.
Produced by Sakthivel under Rockfort Productions, the movie also stars Prakash Raj, Ammu Abhirami and Yogi Babu. GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film.
