Arun Vijay’s Vanangaan gets a release window; all deets about the project here

Vanangaan, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Arun Vijay, is gearing up for release. While the film has recently concluded shooting, the makers have revealed that it will hit theatres in July. Vanangaan is directed by veteran filmmaker Bala.

Vanangaan gets release window

Arun Vijay will be joining forces with filmmaker Bala for Vanangaan. On Saturday, the producer of the film, Suresh Kamatchi, took to social media to announce that the film will hit theatres in July. However, a release date has yet to be announced by the makers.

It is to be noted that Vanangaan was initially launched with actor Suriya in the lead role. However, due to differences, he had to opt out and was later replaced by Arun Vijay. Besides him, the upcoming film also stars Roshni Prakash, Samuthirakani, Mysskin, Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldas, Munish Sivagurunath and others.

The film has been shot by cinematographer RB Gurudev, with Sathish Suriya as the editor. RK Nagu is the art director of Vanangaan. It is produced by Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions in association with Bala's B Studios. GV Prakash is scoring the music for Vanangaan.

Where to watch Arun Vijay’s last film, Mission: Chapter 1?

Arun Vijay was last seen in the action drama Mission: Chapter 1, directed by AL Vijay. The film, which was released earlier this year, is available for streaming on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium.

Mission: Chapter 1 is an action drama also starring Amy Jackson and Nimisha Sajayan in prominent roles. The film revolves around a father who comes to London in order to operate his daughter. However, he gets into trouble, resulting in his landing in jail. While Nimisha plays a nurse, Amy plays the role of a London jailer.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Mission: Chapter 1 has music by GV Prakash Kumar and opened to mixed reviews upon its release.
