Arunraja Kamaraj and Vishnu Vishal set to team up for new film

Director Arunraja Kamaraj and actor Vishnu Vishal are set to collaborate for a film, the latter announced on social media recently, for the occasion of the director’s birthday. This will be marking the first time the duo will be collaborating. Further details on the project are awaited and expected to come out soon.

Arunraja Kamaraj and Vishnu Vishal collaborate

Actor Vishnu Vishal, who was last seen in Lal Salaam earlier this year, took to social media to announce that he will be collaborating with director Arunraja Kamaraj for his next. The director last helmed web series Label, which is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Extending birthday wishes to the director, Vishnu Vishal shared a picture of themselves and said that he cannot wait to start their film. The project will be bankrolled by VV Studioz. The actor did not share further details about the film. The upcoming project will mark the first time he will be collaborating with Vishnu Vishal.

Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal was last seen in Tamil film Lal Salaam, alongside Rajinikanth and Vikranth. The film failed to create an impact at the box office, and is yet to make its streaming debut despite being released in theatres over three months ago. Vishnu Vishal will also be once again teaming up with Ratsasan and Mundaasupatti-fame director Ram Kumar for a film tentatively titled VV 21.

Who is Arunraja Kamaraj?

Arunraja Kamaraj has delivered some impactful films in the last few years. He has helmed films like Kanaa with Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role, and Nenjukku Needhi, a remake of critically acclaimed Hindi film Article 15. His digital debut was made with Label, starring Jai in the lead role. It can be streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.

Besides, Arunraja has also worked as lyricists and had appeared in few acting roles in films including Raja Rani, Ka Pae Ranasingam, Pencil and Maragadha Naanayam.
