Little Hearts is one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema for the year 2025. The comedy caper is now streaming on ETV Win and is now streaming on OTTplay Premium. As the film continues to clock solid views on OTT, director Sai Marthand has become one of the most sought-after filmmakers in Tollywood. Several producers have approached him with lucrative offers to make films for them.
Sai Marthand aims big for his next Telugu film
Meanwhile, OTTplay has learned that Sai Marthand is in talks with popular hero Nithiin for yet another fun-filled entertainer. A source close to the director revealed that Sai met Nithiin recently and narrated a script to him.
The source further added that Nithiin loved the story but requested a complete and detailed narration. Talks are in an advanced stage, and a final call will be taken soon.
Nithiin is currently going through a rough phase in his career, as his last film, Robinhood (now streaming on OTTplay), turned out to be a major flop. His market has declined, and he even walked out of Dil Raju’s Yellamma, which was one of the most anticipated projects.
So, if he signs Sai Marthand’s film, it could very well revive his career, given the young director’s success with Little Hearts. Sai’s command over comedy and his knack for creating situational humor with a simple storyline showcased his talent beautifully.
A sequel to Little Hearts is also in the pipeline
There is also buzz that Sai Marthand might direct a sequel to Little Hearts next. Only time will tell which project he takes up first. For now, Little Hearts shows no signs of slowing down, having crossed over 200 million streaming minutes online.
