Pushpa 2 is out in theaters and has had a fantastic start at the box office. Allu Arjun is a happy man as his performance is being widely praised by audiences and critics, alike. While basking in the film's success, Allu Arjun has now shifted his focus to his next film with Trivikram Srinivas. This project was locked in long ago and will mark Trivikram's first-ever pan-India film.
According to sources, Allu Arjun recently met Trivikram Srinivas to discuss the film's progress. A source close to the team revealed that the scripting work is nearing completion, and Trivikram will soon narrate the final script to Allu Arjun. Sithara Entertainments will bankroll the film on a massive scale, with Naga Vamsi overseeing the production. The film is expected to be officially announced in January 2025, coinciding with the auspicious Sankranthi festival.
Pre-production is in full swing, and several prominent names from Hindi cinema are likely to play key roles in the film. As per reports, Trivikram has prepared another solid entertainer for Allu Arjun. There is speculation that the film might be a period drama, though this has not been confirmed.
On the other hand, Trivikram's last film, Guntur Kaaram, fell short of expectations and ended as a below-average performer at the box office. He is reportedly taking extra care to ensure the success of his upcoming collaboration with Allu Arjun.
Meanwhile, the Telugu collections of Pushpa 2 saw a dip on Monday. Sukumar’s film needs to collect Rs. 212 crores to enter the safe zone. There is still a long way to go, and it remains to be seen how the film performs in the coming days.
For now, Allu Arjun has shifted his focus to his new project, and fans are eagerly waiting to see what this exciting duo of Bunny and Trivikram Srinivas has in store for us. Watch this space for more updates.
