As Salman Khan leaves, is Sanjay Leela Bhansali reviving Inshallah with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt? Details inside

For a very very long time in 2020, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, his fall out with Salman Khan, and his Eid movie Inshallah were the topics of discussion. Though he made a cameo in the 2007 movie Saawariya, Khan and Bhansali were reuniting after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, the movie gained attention when Alia Bhatt took over as the female lead. However, the Sultan actor's abrupt exit from the movie, citing creative differences, cemented the movie's place in history.

According to rumours, the movie was shelved after Bhansali felt bad for denying Alia a date and offered her Gangubai Kathiawadi. The rest is history. Inshallah, according to the most recent rumour, is back on track owing to Bhansali's Babu Moshai! According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan is prepared to take the position of Salman Khan. 

While the female lead for the film continues to be Alia Bhatt, who claimed in one of her candid interviews that her Gangubai director has promised her four films after doing three films with Deepika, a few tweets by SRK fans are indicating that King Khan may have in fact given his approval to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next.

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly slated to appear in Bhansali's Inshallah, and he may decide to finalise the project once his film Jawan opens in June, according to a newspaper article provided by a Twitter account. According to the report, he has a sizable number of dates from June to December left. Previously, Tiger Vs. Pathaan would have been scheduled for these dates, but the movie won't be released this year.

Bhansali will likely secure these dates if SRK has agreed to the project. Two to three producers are reportedly joining forces to bring this love story to reality, according to the report. After Dear Zindagi, this will be Alia and Shah Rukh Khan's second project together.
