Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, a family drama movie starring Salman Khan, earned Rs 15.81 crore on Friday. This is Salman's first major motion picture release in a main role in four years thanks to the Farhad Samji-directed film, which released in theatres before Eid. With the release of "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," the superstar returns to his time-honored strategy of releasing films on Eid, a day that has previously seen the release of some of his biggest hits.

The superstar's young, devoted fans were even willing to spend their whole "eidi" on buying tickets for his films. Movies like 'Wanted,' 'Dabangg,' and 'Sultan' were released on the occasion of Eid and grossed millions.  

The actor is aware of a number of films that have been made and released on Eid. Here is a list of his most recent five Eid releases, along with box office results for each.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai:

The plot centres on Radhe, an undercover police investigator sent to Mumbai to apprehend a drug dealer who even had schoolchildren involved in his scheme. Despite the fact that the film did poorly at the box office and had bad reviews from critics, it was a big OTT triumph. It became the most watched OTT movie on its first day of release with 4.2 million views. The movie made more than Rs 18.33 crore.

Bharat:

The plot centres on a shopkeeper in Delhi who is 70 years old and immigrated to India in 1947 following the partition. The narrative depicts his migration adventure as well as the hurdles he met and conquered along the way. One of the highest-grossing films of 2019 was this one. More than Rs 308.7 crores was collected globally for the narrative.

Race 3:

The movie depicts the lives of an Abu Dabi armaments and weapons dealer's son. This movie, which was directed by Abbas-Mustan, is the third in the Race series. Even though the film's storyline, plot, casting, music, and action sequences garnered the majority of unfavourable reviews, it nevertheless managed to gross more than Rs 305 crore at the box office.

Tubelight:

The 1962 Indo-China War serves as the setting for the story of mentally challenged Laxman Singh Bisht, who lives with his brother and no other family members. Even though the movie received poor reviews from reviewers, it nevertheless managed to bring in Rs 207 crore globally.

Sultan:

In this sports drama film, Sultan Ali Khan, a middle-aged local wrestler and former wrestling champion from Haryana, tells the story of how his love life through many ups and downs as he concentrated on his sport. It made more than Rs 623 crore and received favourable reviews from critics.
