Actor Vishal has completed 18 years in the film industry. The actor, who is known for his action-packed films, made his debut in 2004 with the romantic thriller Chellamae, which was directed by Gandhi Krishna. The film became a huge success and marked his arrival in the industry. It has been 18 years since the film hit screens. Vishal, who wanted to celebrate the occasion in a unique manner, chose to pay tribute to the late Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar and spent time with children Shakthidama, an institution run by the late actor.
The actor shared his excitement on his social media page and wrote, "Blessed to have been a part of my movie journey for the last 18 years. I sincerely thank my fans, family, friends, media, directors, producers, distributors, theatre owners, and all my co-workers. GB. Eighteen years and more to come (sic)."
He also shared some pictures of himself with the children from Shakthidama Education, which is run by the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar's family. "Happy to have finally met kids from #Shakthidama. Thanks to Puneeth anna and Geetha amma. I had a great time. A wonderful time. The kids are sure to shine in the future. I miss you my brother #Puneeth I wish you were here. God bless the kids (sic)."
Vishal is awaiting the release of his next Laththi, in which he plays a police constable. The is directed by A Vinoth Kumar and is said to be an explosive action entertainer. In fact, Vishal got injured a multiple times during the shoot of the film and the shoot had to be put on hold for his recovery. Sunainaa plays the leading lady in the film. Vishal also has Mark Antony, directed by Adhik Ravichandran in the pipeline. Ritu Verma will be playing the leading lady in it.
