Nivin Pauly made a fortune playing a romantic in Malayalam cinema. His movies became synonymous with feel-good entertainment soaked in romance and humour. However, in the last few years, Nivin has been trying very hard to redefine his onscreen image by choosing unconventional, controversial and even outright nihilistic characters.

Nivin's latest movie Ramachandra Boss & Co was supposed to fulfil his fan's wish to see him in a light and charming performance. The movie was released on August 25, coinciding with the Onam celebration. But, the movie fell short of expectations and it instantly tanked at the box office.

The movie also stars Isha Talwar, Aju Varghese, Manoj K. Jayan, Sunny Wayne, Sreeram Ramachandran, Bhagath Manuel, Manikuttan, Sreenivasan, and Niveda Thomas.

Premam (2015):

After its release, Premam became a milestone movie in the history of Malayalam cinema. Celebrated as a modern classic, the movie follows the life of George, portrayed by Nivin Pauly, through various stages of love and relationships. The movie is filled with plenty of beautiful moments invoking a strong sense of nostalgia. Additionally, the film has an excellent soundtrack and memorable supporting characters. Premam was also instrumental in launching Sai Pallavi's acting career.

Neram (2013):

Starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim, the movie tells the story of the protagonist's race against time.
