Ashika Ranganath is using her current popularity to handpick to interesting projects. Having made her mark recently with high-profile projects like Madhagaja, Avatara Purusha - Part 1, and others, Ashika has varied characters lined-up ahead: from Suni's sci-fi film Gathavaibhava to the more intimate medico-thriller O2, Ashika has hands full with multiple films. In this very vein, the actress is also venturing into Tamil cinema and has already signed two exciting projects!
While the first one sees her play the role of Kabaddi player opposite actor Atharvaa, Ashika Ranganath's second Tamil stint stars her own teen idol Siddharth! Yes, as per the latest developments, Ashika will be paired with Siddharth in the untitled project and the actress is super ecstatic about sharing the screen space with someone who grew up watching: the film was recently launched via a muhurath ceremony.

The post and the announcement drew a lot of love and optimism from her followers with many colleagues, such as Nishvika, Shraddha Srinath, rapper All OK, etc., congratulating her on the new findings. Ashika Ranganath featured in singer-songwriter All OK's recent video song Mallige Hoova.
As far as the Tamil project starring Siddharth is concerned, N. Rajasekar of Kalathil Sandhippom fame will be directing the feature with Ashok R serving as the writer and Ghibran as the music composer. The film is a joint production of MiK Productions and 7 Miles Per Second Productions.
