Only a handful among the bunch of upcoming actors enjoy a terrific ground-level connect with audiences across Telugu states. Vishwak Sen, with his spontaneity, sense of humour and a hint of arrogance, enjoys that popularity among the masses and the younger lot in the nooks and corners of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The actor, who's currently shooting for Das Ki Dhamki, is next awaiting the release of the family entertainer Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam, that marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Vidyasagar Chinta.
Ravi Kiran Kola, the director of Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, has penned the story of Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam which features Rukshar Dhillon as the female lead. The teaser, trailer and the singles from the film, launched recently, have managed to create enough curiosity among crowds. Ahead of the film's release on May 6, Vishwak Sen (who plays the role of Arjun Kumar Allam in the film) embarked on a promotional tour across Andhra Pradesh recently and has received a staggering response from students and the younger lot across several public events and in colleges.
In a video released by the makers yesterday, Vishwak Sen's entry in public spaces and educational institutions is greeted with a lot of cheer by a lot of youngsters. The actor even went back in time to discuss his college days and assured that the film would be liked by one and all. The Falaknuma Das actor is also seen shaking a leg with students, dancing to various songs from the film. Going by the reception to Vishwak Sen, the makers of the romantic entertainer have an impressive job in capturing the imagination of the public.
Produced by Sudheer Edara and Bapineedu B under SVCC Digital, Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam also stars Ritika Nayak in an important role. Jay Krish has scored the music for the film. The breezy entertainer is cinematographed by Pavi K Pavan, edited by Viplav Nyshadam and has Pravalya Duddupudi handling production design. Vamsipriya Rasineni is the sound designer. The film's release was postponed twice - March 4 and April 22 are the earlier release dates that were considered.
