Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam OTT premiere postponed; here's when you can stream it!

Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam was like a breath of fresh air amid the cacophony of mainstream, star-heavy films this summer. Not only did it have an impressive plot and sensitive writing, but also featured winsome performances by the leads Vishwak Sen, Ritika Nayak and Rukshar Dhillon. Written by Ravi Kiran Kola, the film marked the directorial debut of popular cinematographer Vidya Sagar Chinta and was jointly produced by Sudheer Edara and Bapineedu B under SVCC Digital.

Telugu OTT platform aha had bagged the streaming rights of Ashoka Vanamlo..and the film was to have its global digital premiere this week if everything went as per schedule. However, with aha deciding to stream Samuthirakani's Writer on May 27, the OTT premiere of Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam has been pushed by a week. The breezy rural tale will now stream on aha on June 3, the OTT platform announced today.

The film revolves around a man named Arjun Kumar Allam (Vishwak Sen), who is in his early 30s and is constantly pestered by all those around him to marry quickly. Just when there’s light around the corner forging an alliance with the elder daughter of the Pasupuletis, Madhavi (Rukshar), there’s a twist in the tale. Will Arjun finally marry the girl of his choice? The supporting cast comprises Goparaju Ramana, Kadambari Kiran, Kedar Shankar, Dubbing Janaki, Rajkumar Kasireddy, to name a few.

Pavi K Pavan is the cinematographer and Jay Krish is the composer of the film. The writer and the director of Ashoka Vanamlo.. had previously collaborated for a film titled Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru. The banner, SVCC Digital, had also produced Bhamakalapam, a web original for aha, starring Priyamani, Saranya Pradeep and John Vijay.
