Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari begins shooting in Serbia for debut web series Faadu

After wrapping up the first schedule of her debut web series Faadu in December 2021, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has commenced filming in Serbia. The show will premiere on Sony LIV.

A press release described the show as “an intense poetic love-story between two different-thinking characters” that stars Saiyami Kher, Pavail Gulati and Abhilash Thapliyal.

Tiwari shared the update today on Instagram and captioned it “#gratitude”

Tiwari and husband Nitesh Tiwari previously co-directed the Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi documentary Break Point for ZEE5.

Faadu is produced by Studio Next. The screenplay is by by poet, theatre writer and director Saumya Joshi.

Tiwari’s credits include Neel Battey Sanata, Bareilly ki Barfi, Panga and Netflix’s Ankahi Kahaniya. The press release adds that she is also co-producing a couple of more projects, and the official announcement for them will be made soon.
