The project based on the Infosys founder and his wife is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.

Critically acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is reportedly working on a project based on the life of Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and his wife Sudha Murthy, who is a writer by profession. The project is expected to start filming by the end of this year.
Ashwini Iyer Tiwari is best known for directing films like Bareily Ki Barfi and Panga. She will soon make her OTT debut with a documentary based on Indian Tennis players Mahesh Bhupati and Leander Paes. The filmmaker recently shared a photo on Instagram with the Tennis players announcing the project titled Break Point.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari said in an interview with PTI that she spent most of last year's coronavirus-induced nation-wide lockdown penning the film along with Shreyas Jain, Piyush Gupta and her filmmaker husband Nitesh Tiwari. She also said in the interview that getting familiar with the story of Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthy had a deep impact on her personally. She said that working on the story was a learning for life and also that their story will make you think about your priorities and purpose in life.
"It's not a movie, It's a life experience and I know deep in my heart this will be my most challenging and cherished film for life," the director said.
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari made her filmmaking debut with Nil Battey Sannata, which was critically acclaimed. She also directed the Tamil remake of the movie Amma Kanakku.
Ashwiny has won the Filmfare Award for the Best Director for her film Bareilly Ki Barfi in the past.
An advertiser-turned-filmmaker, Ashwiny will also work on multiple formats simultaneously. She will be working on Zee5’s Break Point, Sony Liv’s Faadu and the upcoming project based on Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy.
