Asia Cup 2022: Will Afghanistan defeat Pakistan to help India qualify for final?

After an undefeated performance in the league stage of the Asia Cup 2022, cricket fans are witnessing a totally new Team India which has not managed to win any of the two games they have played in the Super 4.

First, they lost the opener to arch-rivals Pakistan by 5 wickets after failing to defend the target of 182 runs on Sunday.

Next, they lost by 6 wickets against Dasun Shanaka's Sri Lanka on Tuesday. They were asked to bat first and only managed to score 173-8 in 20 overs.

Now, Rohit Sharma and Co will have to depend on the results of the other teams to hope they can qualify for the final of the marquee tournament.

India's qualification scenario for the Final of Asia Cup 2022:

- Afghanistan should beat Pakistan.

- India should beat Afghanistan.

- Sri Lanka should defeat Pakistan.

- India's Net Run Rate (NRR) should be greater than Afghanistan and Pakistan.

However, this all would be of not any use if Pakistan registers a win over Afghanistan on Wednesday. Victory for the Men in Green will see India get knocked out of the tournament.
