As of October 6, India has accumulated 95 medals at Hangzhou 2022, and they have assured themselves of at least 102 medals as they enter the penultimate day of the competition. The Indian archery teams, the men's cricket team, the kabaddi teams and even the chess players are all aiming for gold, while the wrestlers are also determined to improve on their bronze medals.

Following their three gold medals, the compound archery team is eager to contribute more to India's medal tally. The men's cricket team will also be competing for gold against Afghanistan in cricket.

In kabaddi, the men's team is set to face Iran in the final, while the women's team will go up against Chinese Taipei. Additionally, the women's hockey team is determined to secure a bronze medal when they take on Japan.
