Asim Riaz on his Bigg Boss rival Sidharth Shukla’s death: I have lost four people after him; my life has changed

Television personality Asim Riaz is again in the news after he made some pretty bizarre claims pertaining to the untimely death of his Bigg Boss 13 arch rival, actor Sidharth Shukla.

Despite the very public fights inside the Bigg Boss 13 house, Asim Riaz said that he had a real connection with the deceased actor. Shukla died on September 6, 2021, at the age of 39.

Talking about Sidharth Shkula’s sudden passing, themodel-turned-actor-turned-TV personality said that he had known all along that Shukla was about to pass away, and that the deceased actor had come in Riaz’s dream and told him about the unfortunate news.

"He came in my dream bro. I swear to my mother, brother. I knew it before my cousin called me and asked me to check the news. He didn't tell me and knows how emotional and sensitive I am. I had spent so many days with him in the house. I was really connected. I had no friends outside and did not feel any connection with anyone before. Aisa emotion... ladna toh chaar chaar din, hasna toh chaar chaar din,” Asim Riaz said in an interview, according to a news report by ETimes.

Asim further added, "He came in my dreams. Jab Sidharth ne footage dekhi thi apni puri toh aake usne muhe hug kiya tha...He did this (shows how Sid flipped his hair in his blue shirt). I swear to Allah. And I just woke up. I want to tell you that after Sidharth, my cousin passed away at 26. Then a friend of mine passed away. There are four people I lost after Sidharth. And my life changed. I was like what am I doing? What if something happens to me?"

Asim Riaz, who shot to fame after his Bigg Boss 13 stint, also shared his thoughts on the live voting system that was carried out at the Bigg Boss 13 finale. Riaz called the whole system rigged and accused that the live voting was held just so that Sidharth Shukla could win the winner’s title. He also added that the makers of the hit reality TV show had never done of this stature before but when it came to the two of them, they had opened the voting lines for only 20 minutes and gave the audience an opportunity to choose who they wanted to lift the trophy.
