Abhilash Thapliyal on how Aspirants helped him explore good roles

Meanwhile, in an interview with OTTplay, Abhilash Thapliyal mentioned that he was initially offered stereotypical roles. However, Aspirants, which was released in 2021, helped him explore more characters in his career.

"I was always seen as the hero ka dost (hero's friend) or the comical element; that would add fun because I am a radio guy who is always fun. I was offered similar kinds of roles. In fact, even in my first film (Dil Juunglee), I was a hero ka dost (hero's friend), the fun guy who always cracks jokes. So, I have done that, and I am happy with it. But this (Aspirants) made me believe that I could explore something more," he said.
