The film, which debuted in theatres in December 2023, did not do well at the box office or attract many viewers. It has now been confirmed that Asthra will begin streaming on the popular Malayalam OTT platform from 12 am on July 18.
The same streaming website will soon stream Dhyan Sreenivasan's Super Zindagi and Anaswara Rajan's Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal. Vinay Forrt and Sharaf U Dheen's Samshayam will also be available on the platform. You can now watch Mr & Mrs Bachelor on Manorama Max. Last week, Narivetta and Detective Ujjwalan made their OTT debut. While Tovino Thomas' political thriller Narivetta is available on both Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium, Detective Ujjwalan, starring Dhyan Sreenivasan, is available on Netflix.

Asthra plot and cast details
The Wayanad district's Sulthan Bathery region serves as the film's main location. In the 48 hours, a gang has attacked and killed two police officers under mysterious circumstances. They make an arrow-shaped sign on the wall using blood. The primary focus of the film is Joshy Mathew's investigation of the case using various techniques in an attempt to apprehend the culprits and find the motive behind the crime.
Suhasini Kumaran, Senthil Krishna, Sudheer Karamana and Kalabhavan Shajohn also play pivotal roles in Asthra, which is directed by Azaad Alavil. Renu Sounder, Jayadushyanth, Abu Salim, Jiju Raj, Srikanth Murali, Meghanathan, Neena Kurup and Parasparam Pradeep are among the supporting cast of the film. Prem Kallat and Prenand Kallat had bankrolled this movie, which is penned by Vinu K Mohan and Jiju Raj. Mohan Sithara composed music and background score for Asthra.
