Asthram OTT release date: When and where to stream Shaam’s crime thriller

Asthram, the 2025 Tamil crime thriller film which hit theatres in March, is now heading to its OTT premiere. The film's post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Aha Tamil. Directed by debutant Aravind Rajagopal, the film stars actor Shaam in the lead role. Asthram will premiere on Aha Tamil on May 9.

Asthram, the new Tamil movie, is the latest addition to Aha Tamil. The film will begin streaming on May 9 onwards, the platform announced. In addition to Aha Tamil, you can also watch Asthram along with other latest Tamil films like Yamakaathaghi, Kingston and Kudumbasthan, on OTTplay Premium.

Produced by DSM Dhana Shanmugamani under Best Movies, Asthram hit theatres on March 21. Asthram is helmed by Aravind Rajagopal in his directorial debut. The ensemble cast includes Shaam, Nizhalgal Ravi, Jeeva Ravi, Niranjini and others. The technical crew includes Sundaramoorthy scoring the music, while the camera is cranked by Kalyan. The film revolves around a series of suicide cases with a common pattern found among the deceased. Taking up this case and suspecting foul play, a senior cop, along with a rookie official, begins an investigation, leading the duo to a chilling revelation.
