Asur season 2 release date: When and where to watch Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti's mythological crime drama on OTT

Asur season 2 is one of the highly awaited mythological drama series starring Arshad Warsi and Barun Sobti. Directed by One Sen, the show has garnered an immense fan following after its first instalment. Meanwhile, the makers have recently dropped the official trailer of the upcoming series, which has again gathered a lot of viewers' attention. 

Warsi and Sobti both portray the characters of forensic experts named Dhananjay "DJ" Rajpoot and Nikhil Nair respectively, the latter being the junior of the other.

Anupriya Goenka essays Nikhil's wife Naina Nair and Ridhi Dogra is Nushrat Saeed, one of the investigating officers and the junior forensic expert's friend. Asur season 2 also has Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang, Pawan Chopra and Gaurav Arora in key roles, while Vishesh Bansal plays the role of an antagonist as Teen Shubh Joshi.

The latest trailer video witnesses, Shubh taking his theory of ending this world up a notch and attacking the humans with the help of technology as Kalki (a futuristic Hindu mythological character) is set to do to occur the universal dissolution.

Bankrolled by Tanveer Bookwala under Ding Entertainment and Viacom 18 Studios, the Oni Sen directed mystery crime thriller mythological and psychological drama is created by Vibhav Shikdar and Gaurav Shukla, with the latter being one of the writers along with Niren Bhatt, Abhijeet Khuman and Pranay Patwardhan.

The first instalment is available to to stream on Voot, while Asur season 2 releases on June 1 on Jio Cinema for free.
