The shoot for director Karthick Naren's upcoming film Nirangal Moondru has been wrapped up. The film that stars Atharvaa Murali, Sarath Kumar and Rahman in prime roles is said to be a hyperlink thriller, where multiple narratives are shown parallely.The shoot for the film began earlier this year in January. Karthick Naren made the announcement about the completion of the film's shoot on his social media page, "It鈥檚 a wrap! 馃槂#NirangalMoondru 馃幀馃@Atharvaamurali @realsarathkumar @actorrahman @Ayngaran_offl (sic)."

The rest of the star cast include actor-producer Jayaprakash's son Dushyanth Jayaprakash, Chinni Jayanth and John Vijay. The director has opted for the same technical team as his debut film Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. Music for the film is by Jakes Bejoy, while Tijo Tomy is handling the cinematography and Sreejith Saarang is handling the editing. The film is said to explore the three shades in an individual- black, grey and white.

Rahman had earlier stated that the film was the most ambitious one of Karthick Naren. After he wrapped his portions, Rahman shared on his social media page, "#NirangalMoondru shooting wrapped!.. the story of this movie is supposed to be Karthik鈥檚 most ambitious one. *My Manager* #Ajaykumar met @karthicknaren_M and expressed gratitude @ajay_64403 @johnsoncinepro @Ayngaran_offl (sic)." 

Kartick Naren's last release was Maaran that starrred Dhanush, Malavika Mohanan, Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and Ramki. The film received mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. The director also has in the pipeline Naragasooran, which has been delayed indefinitely. The film's star cast comprises Aravind Swamy, Shriya Saran, Sundeep Kishan, Aathmika and Indrajith Sukumaran. Naragoosaran is said to be a spin-off of his debut directorial Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru.

Meanwhile, Atharvaa's last release was the romantic comedy Thalli Pogaadhey, in which he teamed up with Anupama Parameswaran and Amitash Pradhan. The film, which was a remake of the Telugu film Ninnu Kori, was directed by R Kannan.
